Sting: il 19 marzo esce il nuovo album
"Duets", il disco che raccoglie le collaborazioni dell'artista , è finalmente in arrivo. E l'11 marzo esce il singolo "My Funny Valentine" con Herbie Hancock
E finalmente anche l'atteso nuovo album di Sting, "Duets", è pronto per la pubblicazione. La data è il 19 marzo. In quel giorno esce infatti il progetto che raccoglie le più celebri collaborazioni collezionate da Sting durante la sua gloriosa carriera. Solo per fare qualche nome, si tratta di artisti come Mary J. Blige, Herbie Hancock, Eric Clapton, Annie Lennox, Charles Aznavour, Zucchero, Mylène Farmer, Shaggy, Melody Gardot.
Lo scorso autunno era già uscito il brano "September", realizzato con Zucchero. L'11 marzo esce invece “My Funny Valentine”, registrato con Herbie Hancock, utilizzato in origine per il film giapponese "Ashura".
L'uscita di "Duets" è anche l'occasione per lanciare il nuovo sito interattivo dell'artista, ricco di contenuti visivi e sorprese. E, sempre per celebrare la pubblicazione dell'album, sarà disponibile anche uno speciale singolo digitale della versione di “Englishman/African in New York” con l’artista africano Shirazee. La canzone vuol essere un messaggio di positività e speranza in questi momenti difficili.
