Police: torna l'emozionante film che racconta il primo tour della band

Torna il 20 maggio, in una nuova versione restaurata e arricchita, un celebre film dedicato ai Police: si tratta di “Around the World”, che raccontava l'emozionante primo tour mondiale della band.

Intitolato "The Police: Around The World Restored & Expanded", possiede "immagini restaurate e audio rimasterizzato, oltre alle performance complete di quattro brani bonus presenti nel documentario".

I Police si esibirono in Giappone, Hong Kong, Australia, India, Egitto, Grecia, Francia, Sud America e Stati Uniti. Andy Summers, ricorda, nelle note di copertina: "Come Napoleone, noi volevamo il mondo. Fuori dall'atmosfera disordinata e fervente della Londra di allora, abbiamo concepito l'idea di fare il giro del mondo e filmare l'intera avventura. Per quanto ne sapevamo, nessun gruppo rock, l'aveva mai fatto. Eravamo abbastanza popolari per poter suonare in tutto il mondo".
