John Travolta:il commovente addio alla moglie

Kelly Preston, la moglie di John Travolta, è scomparsa. La donna, 57 anni, era malata di tumore. John Travolta ha scritto un bellissimo messaggio social per salutarla una ultima volta. 

Ecco le parole commoventi dell'attore: "È con cuore molto pesante che vi informo che la mia bellissima moglie Kelly ha perso la sua battaglia di due anni contro il cancro al seno. La mia famiglia e io saremo per sempre grati ai dottori e agli infermieri del MD Anderson Cancer Center, a tutti i centri medici che l’hanno aiutata e ai molti amici e alle persone care che sono state al suo fianco".

It is with a very heavy heart that I inform you that my beautiful wife Kelly has lost her two-year battle with breast cancer. She fought a courageous fight with the love and support of so many.  My family and I will forever be grateful to her doctors and nurses at MD Anderson Cancer Center, all the medical centers that have helped, as well as her many friends and loved ones who have been by her side. Kelly’s love and life will always be remembered. I will be taking some time to be there for my children who have lost their mother, so forgive me in advance if you don’t hear from us for a while.  But please know that I will feel your outpouring of love in the weeks and months ahead as we heal. Sono molti i film in cui Kelly ha recitato nella sua carriera. Solo per citarne alcuni: "Jerry Maguire", "Innamorati cronici", "Niente da perdere", "Il genio", "Jack Frost", "Gioco d'amore" e 
"Battaglia per la Terra". 

Kelly e John si sono conosciuti sul set del film "Gli esperti americani" di Dave Thomas del 1987. Nel 1991 si erano sposati e hanno avuto 3 figli. Nel 2009 hanno dovuto affrontare il dolore per la perdita del figlio Jett, affetto da autismo.
