Raye trionfa ai Brit Award

Un vero trionfo ai Brit Award 2024 per Raye, che a soli 27 anni è l'artista che ha ottenuto più premi in un'unica serata in tutta la  storia di questo evento. Raye ha vinto infatti i riconoscimenti nelle categorie British Album of the Year (per "My 21st Century Blues"), Song of the Year (per "Escapism Feat. 070 Shake"), British Artist of the Year, Best R&B Act, Best New Artist e Songwriter of the Year.

Ma chi è Raye, che in questa edizione dei Brit ha superato star come Dua Lipa e Miley Cyrus? Raye è nata a Londra da padre inglese e madre di origini svizzere e ghanesi. Ha esordito a  quindici anni e nel gennaio del 2023 ha conquistato il Regno Unito con la canzone "Escapism", tratta dal suo secondo album "My 21st Century Blues".

Raye sarà nel nostro paese il 14 luglio, a Perugia, all'Arena Santa Giuliana per l’edizione 2024 di Umbria Jazz.
