Regina Elisabetta: l'inaspettata lettera di ringraziamento spedita ai fan

La Regina Elisabetta II ha festeggiato lo scorso novembre i suoi 71 anni di matrimonio con il Principe Filippo. Per l'occasione, tanti fan hanno inviato a Buckingham Palace i loro biglietti d'auguri. Adesso, la Regina ha risposto a tutti con una lettera e una foto ufficiale che la ritrae con il marito.

Naturalmente, i fan si sono sentiti sorpresi e felici. E uno di loro ha anche pubblicato sui social un'immagine della lettera e della foto dei Reali.

La Regina Elisabetta ha sposato il Principe Filippo nel 1947, nell'abbazia di Westminster. Allora aveva 21 anni. Adesso la coppia reale ha quattro figli, otto nipoti e sette pronipoti.

La Regina Elisabetta riceve quotidianamente più di 300 lettere. A curarsene è principalmente il suo staff, ma la Sovrana ne sceglie sempre alcune provenienti dai sudditi da leggere ogni giorno.

I am over the moon to have received this reply and the fact that Miss Vine has been kind enough to include a photo is just cherry on the top. It has been over 4 months since I have sent my letter and I have quite honestly forgotten about it, but it came! A lot of you are asking and worrying about when your replies will come and if they are going to come at all. Patience is a key element in this royal correspondence business. Patience. Don't expect to receive a reply in two weeks because it probably will not happen. Don't feel down if you see that everyone is getting a certain reply and you still haven't. You will - have patience. Maybe you really won't receive a reply, maybe it will get lost in the mail or some other reason but there are still ways for you to get it.
