La celebre serie "Il Trono di Spade" è adesso anche un whisky. il brand di alcolici Johnnie Walker ha infatti creato uno speciale blend dedicato a "Il Trono di Spade" e ben otto single malt scotch battezzati con il nome delle famiglie protagoniste della serie.
Il Johnnie Walker Blended Scotch Whisky si chiama "The White Walker by Johnnie Walker" ed è un blend ottenuto usando due single malt scotch provenienti dalle distillerie di Cardhu e Clynelish in Scozia. L'inchiostro dell'etichetta lampeggia quando la bottiglia è in freezer.
Arriveranno anche otto whisky single malt con i nomi delle casate di Westeros e di Night's Watch. "Il Trono di Spade" aveva ispirato anche una serie di birre, battezzate Game of Thrones e King in the North.
