E' stato un piacevole incontro quello tra il nostro Daniele Bossari e Mick che ha presentato in diretta il suo album di debutto, in qualità di solista; "Tribute to Bobby" in uscita il 16 maggio 2008. Il cd è composto da cover di Bobby “Blue” Bland, leggendario soulman che l'artista ha avuto l'opportunità di incontrare (come testimonia un DVD allegato al disco) a Memphis. Prodotto dal fido Andy Wright, "Tribute to Bobby" contiene i seguenti brani: “Farther up the road”, “Ain’t that lovin’ you”, “I’m too far gone (to turn around)”, “Poverty”, “Yolanda”, “Stormy monday blues”, “I wouldn’t treat a dog (the way you treated me)”, “I’ll take care of you”, “Chains of love”, “I pity the fool”, “Cry,cry,cry”, “Lead me on”. Mick Hucknall si esibirà il prossimo 19 luglio ad Aosta, il giorno successivo al Summer Festival di Brescia, il 22 a Roma ed il 23 al Summer Festival di Lucca e il 27 luglio allo Sporting Monte Carlo.
